Have you been previously published on Beyond Words?
We welcome your stories that are written in English.
Your blog/website and related social media accounts (please link; if you don’t have one or any of these, that’s OK).
Let us know if this is content original to Beyond Words (not published anywhere before, including your own blog or social media sites) OR a previously published piece within the COMMENTS section.
Provide a brief a biography about yourself (2-4 sentences is fine).

WE DO NOT PAY FOR SUBMISSIONS. WE ONLY PAY FOR STORIES IF WE PUBLISH THEM IN ONE OF OUR BOOKS. WE RECEIVE THOUSANDS OF SUBMISSIONS FOR EACH BOOK BUT CAN ONLY SELECT 101 STORIES FOR INCLUSION.

You will not be able to republish any piece originally published with Beyond Words with a third party site, nor shall any piece originally published on Beyond Words be allowed or caused to be republished by a third party. You may, however, request permission from Beyond Words to republish on your personal website or blog. Beyond Words reserves the right to decide which stories to publish. Submissions must fit our mission. By submitting, you are verifying that Beyond Words has the right to publish your work. If Beyond Words chooses to accept your submission, an editor will contact you with specific details on the next steps to take. Restrictions may apply. It is our policy to keep your personal information strictly confidential. It will NOT be sold, traded or used for any other purpose than to communicate with you regarding Beyond Words story submissions.

FAQs How will I know if my story is selected for the book? Once you have submitted your story please do not contact us for information about it. The selection process has many steps and we are unable to provide updates on a particular submission’s progress. We receive an average of 100 stories per day. The selection process is a long one. If my story is selected will I be notified? If your submission is selected you will be notified via e-mail and we will request your permission to print the story. We never publish anything without written permission from the author. What if my story is not selected? Please keep a copy of your submission in your files. We are unable to send your story back to you. If your submission is not chosen you will not receive a rejection letter.

Submitting the same story more than once to the same topic causes delays and could result in your story being disqualified from publishing consideration. If you believe your work fits in more than one topic you may submit the same story to all appropriate topics. Please indicate which other topics you have submitted it to in the *COMMENTS box on the submission form.
